NEW PILATES CLASS IN SUTTON

Park View Pilates are launching a brand new Pilates class in Sutton.

We already have Pilates classes running locally at St Barnabas Church on Wednesday evenings – and from 26th September we will have a new 9.30am Tuesday class at the Thomas Wall Centre, a short walk from Sutton High Street.

We also have Pilates classes running in Banstead, Epsom Downs and Purley.

All of our Pilates classes are mixed ability and suitable for all levels of fitness and Pilates experience, including complete beginners. We show every exercise in detail, and if there are different variations we flag up which one beginners should stick with. Alternative options and adaptations can be given for those with injuries or medical conditions.

Classes can be attended on a term or PAYG basis but booking is essential for all classes.

PRICES
Classes cost £10 each when paid by term (term dates below). Classes cost £15 each when doing PAYG and can only be booked on the day of a class. If you want to do PAYG, please email lorraine@parkviewpilates.co.uk for more details. Please note, booking is essential for all classes. We do not accept walk-ins.
TERM LENGTHS
The Jan/Feb term starts Monday 9th January 2023 and runs for seven weeks, through to  Wednesday 22nd February. The cost for the term is £70 (to attend one regular class a week for the seven weeks). There is also the option to do PAYG – classes cost £15 each this way and can only be booked on the day of a class, subject to availability (but you must have contacted us in advance to get full details about attending our classes on a PAYG basis).

Our new Pilates term starts on Monday 31st October and runs for eight weeks, through to Wednesday 21st December.

Charity fundraising beginners Pilates class in Banstead

Park View Pilates is running a one-off charity fundraising beginners Pilates class in aid of Samaritans.

Ever single penny of your £10 fee goes to Samaritans of East Surrey. We are covering the cost of the hall and donating our time to organise and run the class.

Although the class is aimed at beginners, it would also be suitable for those with Pilates experience – but we will only be showing the beginner friendly versions of all exercises.

The class will take place at 7pm on Tuesday 24th May at St Ann’s Church Hall, 4 Brighton Road, Banstead SM7 1BS. The cost is £10 per person and payment will need to be made in advance.

Booking is essential for the class.

PILATES CLASSES IN SUTTON, PURLEY, BANSTEAD & EPSOM DOWNS – NEW TERM STARTS MONDAY 10TH JANUARY 2022

The new Park View Pilates term starts on Monday 10th January 2022.

Our mixed ability classes are suitable for all levels of fitness and Pilates experience, including complete beginners.

Although many fitness companies have gone back to normal, we have maintained social distancing at all of our venues.- so you don’t need to worry about be too close to other people. Mat spaces are marked out to allow at least 2 metres between people. Our Sutton venue allows for even more space, with most mat spaces having at least 2.5 metres between people.

Our new Pilates term starts on Monday 10th January 2022 and runs for eight weeks, through to Wednesday 2nd March.

Charity fundraising Pilates Classes in aid of the Samaritans

Park View Pilates is running some beginners Pilates masterclasses in aid of the Croydon and Sutton branch of Samaritans. 

The classes will take place in Sutton and Purley in February 2020.

We will have one class at 8pm on Thursday 6th February at St Barnabas Church Hall, St Barnabas Road, Sutton, SM1 4NS.

We will have a second class at 6pm on Thursday 20th February at The John Fisher School, Peaks Hill, Purley, CR8 3YP. If there is enough interest, we will add an additional class on the same night.

These classes are primarily aimed at people new to Pilates but don’t worry if you’ve done Pilates before – it’s always good to have a refresher on the basics!

In the 75minute sessions we will cover the fundamental elements of Pilates, including the pelvic floor lift, ‘drawing in’ and breathing techniques, as well as some of the popular basic strengthening, mobility and flexibility exercises.

PRICE – £10 per person for a 75-minute class (although feel free to donate more to the charity if you would like!).

You will need to bring your own mat or towel to lie on, and also a small hand towel to use as a pillow during certain exercises.

You need to contact Lorraine at Park View Pilates (preferably by email) to reserve your space – please include your full name and contact telephone number, and please state that it’s for the masterclass on 6th February.
